What we hold, and for how long

Your characterisation files. Uploads are parsed in your browser. The file never leaves your machine, and no copy reaches a server. Closing the tab discards it.

Cases you run. A case lives in your browser's storage until you clear it. Exporting a report writes a file to your own disk.

Calculations in the apps. Some app screens calculate on the Surphysis server rather than in your browser, behind your own sign-in. Four separate things, so that one sentence does not answer four questions. Transmitted: the values, units, temperatures and declarations of the one calculation you asked for, when you press the button. Stored: nothing; the request is held only long enough to answer it and is not written to any store. Logged: no request body and no input value. Deleted: nothing is retained to delete. Your saved entries and your case stay in your browser, and the report and data file are prepared there from the result.

Demo and service requests. The form sends your name, organisation, email and the case description you type. It reaches Mohammad Kawwam by email and is kept until the request is closed, then deleted. It is never added to a mailing list and never passed on.

Bot protection on the forms. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from spam and automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical signals, including your IP address and browser information, to detect bots and improve Turnstile. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details.

Analytics. None. The site sets no cookies. The only third-party script is Cloudflare Turnstile, on the two forms, described above.

Questions or deletion. Ask through the request form, naming the address your request was sent from, and the record goes within two working days.
